Lisa Gruenloh, MA, ACCFounder and President, Purpose Journey, Inc.
Lisa Gruenloh is an organizational consultant, coach, trainer, and mission-driven entrepreneur with a passion for helping organizations and individuals achieve sustainable success – success built on the foundation of their unique strengths, values, and purpose. She’s currently president of Purpose Journey, Inc., a consultant/trainer for the Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University, and a program manager at Braidio, a digital learning company focused on organizational and leadership development. Lisa is known for her supportive, thought-provoking style that inspires (and gently challenges) others to create meaningful – often difficult – change. Her programs help teams and individuals overcome common fears and challenges that hinder effectiveness, while optimizing strengths to reach their full potential and fulfillment. Over a more than 20-year career, Lisa has worked with a wide variety of corporate, government, and consulting organizations throughout the country. During that time her purpose has evolved and expanded, giving her a unique skill set and perspective she shares with her clients.
Lisa’s experience cultivating a high-performing culture at InfiLaw Corporation for eight years gives her a unique perspective on the challenges, opportunities, and nuances associated with building a strong culture and living it day-to-day. Prior to InfiLaw, she managed communications, stakeholder engagement, and reputation for dozens of clients at some of the nation’s leading public relations and integrated marketing firms, including as a vice president at Golin/Harris, Miami and as a PR director at Off Madison Ave in Phoenix. She served as communications director and spokesperson to U.S. Senator Tim Johnson, other Members of Congress, and a board member at the National Credit Union Administration in Washington, DC. She also worked as a reporter and producer at two NPR affiliates and was a freelance writer/journalist.
Education & Credentials
Lisa earned her master’s degree in Public Communication from American University in Washington, D.C. and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Government and Broadcasting/Communication. Lisa is a Certified Professional Coach trained at the College of Executive Coaching, credentialed by the International Coach Federation, and is a Certified Social and Emotional Intelligence Coach. She’s also certified in the Conflict Dynamics Profile and EQ-i 2.0 emotional intelligence assessments. Lisa studied Six Sigma Green Belt, Business Analysis, Project Management, and Organizational Leadership through Villanova University.

Lisa joyfully provides hundreds of hours of pro-bono service each year. She’s a certified Purpose Workshop facilitator for the Blue Zones Project® and provides coaching and workshops for the Shelter for Abused Women in Naples. She’s an Ambassador with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, Secretary of the Southwest Florida Diversity Council, and serves on the Board of Trustees at her church. An avid swimmer, former lifeguard and swim instructor, Lisa works on the drowning prevention initiative for the Safe and Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County.
